David Evans, PhD, MBA • Chief Executive Officer, Ceatus Media Group LLc
Dr. Evans has directed marketing efforts for medical companies and surgical practices since 1985. In 1996, he co-founded an Internet medical marketing communications firm specializing in eye health. In 1998, he began developing online visibility strategies for dental practices, primarily in the area of cosmetic dentistry. He has helped dentists throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia better educate and connect with patients through their practice websites and other online communication strategies. Dr. Evans is a recognized authority on Internet healthcare marketing strategies, and has spoken at numerous professional dentistry and plastic surgery meetings. He is also the founder of VectorVision, which specializes in developing products for the standardization of contrast sensitivity and other novel types of vision testing.
Greg Johnstone • Associate Publisher
Mr. Johnstone has been writing and editing for Internet publications since 2003 on technical and healthcare topics such as dental insurance, dental braces, dental bridge costs, diabetes, malignant mesothelioma and primary pulmonary hypertension. In addition to serving as associate publisher for Consumer Guide to Dentistry, Mr. Johnstone also is a publisher for sister sites Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery, Consumer Guide to Bariatric Surgery, Breast Implants 4 You and A ll About Facial Rejuvenation. He previously was responsible for content editing and production for several Ceatus Media Group online publications. Mr. Johnstone joined Ceatus in October 2005 and has a degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
Tamara Evans • Associate Executive Publisher
Tamara Evans joined Ceatus in 2007 as VP of Marketing. Ms Evans has more than 20 years of medical marketing experience, having served as VP of Marketing and Product Manager in several ophthalmic medical device companies. She has extensive experience managing editing and publishing departments and is also an expert in the development and implementation of performance-based marketing and analysis programs. Since joining Ceatus, she has assumed the additional role of Associate Executive Publisher, in which capacity she ensures that visitors to all of the portals published by Ceatus receive an excellent consumer experience. Ms Evans received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Dayton and a Master of Science in Statistics from Wright State University.
Allison DiMatteo • Writer
Ms. DiMatteo is the founder of Crème della Crème Copywriting & Communication. She specializes in copywriting, editing and publication management for diverse clients. She has been a regular independent contributor to Inside Dentistry magazine, and was the managing editor of the publication when it launched in 2005. She has also served as the editor of Functional Esthetics & Restorative Dentistry. In addition to authoring and ghostwriting a variety of articles geared toward healthcare professionals and consumers, Ms. DiMatteo's corporate, professional and academic clients rely on her skills for print advertisements, brochures, video scripts, and sales presentations, as well as Web site and downloadable news and education content.

Ms. Blackburn is webmaster of Consumer Guide to Dentistry, Refractive Surgery News and other Ceatus Media online properties, including the eye surgeon directory at All About Vision. She earned a BS in Biology from Northern Illinois University and a BA in English Literature/Education from Northeastern Illinois University. Ms. Blackburn also has worked as a web/graphic designer and consultant and in marketing, design and content management.

Mr. Herndon is the web developer for Ceatus Media Group. He creates and maintains online properties owned by the company, as well as client websites. Mr. Herndon holds a degree from the University of California, San Diego.
Nathan Johnson • Executive Editor
Mr. Johnson is the Executive Editor of Ceatus Media Group. He serves in a variety of editorial and managerial capacities at Ceatus, with a principal focus on legal, plastic surgery, and bariatric consumer education. He joined Ceatus in September 2007 to help launch new online publications and establish continuity and branding across the company's various online resources. He currently serves as Executive Editor of the company's seven health care Web portals. He formerly served as Senior Editor at a major Internet healthcare firm and as Managing Editor of Imagine Your Health, one of the first online publications covering elective health care procedures, such as LASIK surgery and dental implants. He has authored hundreds of articles about consumer Internet use for healthcare research and his work has appeared in numerous medical, dental and legal publications. Mr. Johnson received a BA in history from the University of California, San Diego, and an MA in literature from the University of Toronto.
Steve Bagi • Design Director
A 16-year veteran of graphic design, Mr. Bagi has held art director, design director and creative director positions with a number of advertising agencies in the Philadelphia area. He was a founding partner of Beacon Advertising & Design, where he developed successful campaigns for such clients as First USA bank, Southwest Airlines, and Cahners Publishing. Mr. Bagi is president of Bagi Design. He directs all design work for Ceatus Media Group LLC consumer websites, including this website, All About Vision, Consumer Guide to Bariatric Surgery, Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery, Your Legal Guide and educational portals for consumers who have been afflicted with mesothelioma or have suffered a personal injury and need a lawyer. He also creates all company marketing materials, such as screen savers and printed brochures, as well as Internet advertising for clients.

Mr. Walker was co-founder and executive vice president of eye care trade publisher Viscom Publications, and publishing director for Cardinal Business Media's joint publishing venture with the American Optometric Association. His 30-year career in vision care includes various positions with professional and trade publications and with an ad agency specializing in optical retailing. He was a founding partner of Access Media Group, LLC and is publisher of All About Vision®, an informational resource for consumers on eye health and vision correction.
Tom Meinert • Partner
Mr. Meinert's 24-year publishing career includes roles as vice president, sales, of eye care trade publisher Viscom Publications and associate publisher at a unit of Medical Economics Company. He also served as associate publisher of Eyecare Business magazine. In 1997, Mr. Meinert co-founded Access Media Group, LLC, a company specializing in print and electronic eye health information for consumers. Mr. Meinert was the founding publisher of this website's sister publications, Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery and Consumer Guide to Bariatric Surgery.

Gary Alex, DMD, of Huntington, New York, attended Penn State University on an athletic scholarship where he graduated with a degree in Biology in 1977. He then took advanced level graduate courses in chemistry and biology before working at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. He attended Tufts University Dental School where he earned his DMD in 1981.
Dr. Alex is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and past president of the AACD New York Chapter. Rebecca K. Pitts, DMD, DDS, DScD, FAACD, of Lake Mary, Florida, earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the highly regarded Boston University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Pitts also completed a specialized post-doctoral residency in advanced general dentistry techniques at this institution. Joel H. Berg, DDS, MS, is Professor and Lloyd and Kay Chapman Chair for Oral Health. He serves as the Chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Washington and as Dental Director at Seattle Children's Hospital. He is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, Secretary-Treasurer for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Associate Dean for Hospital Affairs at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry.

Mahnaz Fatahzadeh, DMD, B.SC, obtained her B.SC. and DMD degrees as well as her GPR certificate from the University of British Columbia in Canada where she practiced general dentistry for a number of years. She completed an Oral Medicine fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where she holds a faculty appointment as an Associate Professor. She is the past chair of Oral Cancer Consortium and the director of oral cancer screenings at the UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School.
Dr. Fatahzadeh is an attending at the university Hospital in Newark, NJ, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine, a member of AAOM, and the director of the pre and post-doctoral oral medicine programs at New Jersey Dental School. W. Peter Nordland, DMD, MS, of La Jolla, Calif., maintains a private practice limited to oral plastic microsurgery. Over the years, Dr. Nordland has introduced many new surgical procedures and has developed his own microsurgical instrumentation. He enjoys teaching and is an assistant professor of periodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, and Director of Microsurgery at Newport Beach Coast Oral Facial Institute. He is also one of the few fellows of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He lectures internationally for esteemed organizations such as the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, the International Dental Federation, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and many of the state dental associations, including New York, Texas and California, in addition to most dental schools throughout the United States.
